These samples are all MP3's, but they are zipped in order to save
every extra kb of web-space possible. The samples have now been re-made
into 128kbps 44mhz. That is CD-quality. But still this is just samples.
To hear the full songs just buy the albums in your local store, or
better, go to the Ordering page.
Hmm, at this point in time a few of the samples are lost due to some
ass deleting them from my danish friend Lars account. Thanks again
Lars for hosting them, they will be back soon.
"EMPEROR"
I am
the Black Wizards
Even though this song is from the Emperor EP, it is still the most
appreciated song whenever Emperor play live.
"IN THE NIGHTSIDE ECLIPSE"
The Majesty
of the Nightsky
This song shows the way Emperor creates a great atmosphere by their
usage of the keyboards. On the original sleeve of "Nightside" this
song is called "The Majesty of the Night Sky" but this is the way
it should be.
Inno a
Satana
This might be the most classic Black metal song ever. Mixing clear
vocals with Ihsahn's trademark screaming.
"ANTHEMS TO THE WELKIN AT DUSK"
Thus
Spake the Nightspirit
This song shows Emperor's great developement from the "Nightside"
album to this one.
The
Loss and Curse of Reverence
The video track from Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. One of the most
classic Black metal songs you'll ever hear. Increadibly beautiful,
yet so unbelievably intense and aggressive.
With Strength
I Burn
Here you'll hear another side to Ihsahn's vocal skills. The song reaches
over eight minutes and takes you through some beautiful musical landscapes.
"IX EQUILIBRIUM"
Curse You All
Men!
The opening track of this album. Curse... is clearly one of the best
Emperor-songs ever (webmaster's comment)
Sworn Remix
"Sworn" remix by Garm/ Ulver 1999.
Appeared as bonus track on the limited edition "IX Equilibrium"
digipack. Full song!!!
"PROMETHEUS - THE DISCIPLINE OF FIRE & DEMISE"
In the Wordless Chamber
Empty
